Muslim Muralist Creates Both Hindu and Islamic Art on Bamboo

INDIA---When Sanam Feroz started converting her imaginations into figures on canvas and fabric, little did she know that one day, she will be known by her works. Being a Muslim did not deter this artist from painting Hindu deities in mural artform. Not only did she experiment with mural on canvas and wood, but merged the mural art with Muslim architecture. This Ramzan, Sanam is introducing bamboo stems with verses from Quran painted in Arabic calligraphy. [link]
