ISLAM---The works of 12 top Arabic calligraphy artists are on display at a local gallery. The exhibition entitled ‘A Verse Imprinted/Islamic Arts’ was inaugurated by Shaikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority. The exhibition, which will run through summer until August 31, was organised by the ARA Gallery, in collaboration with the Dubai Arabic Calligraphy Centre. The 12 calligraphers whose new works are being featured in this exhibition are: Abdulrazzak Mahmod, Eman Al Bastaki, Fatma Saeed Al Bagali, Majid Al Yousef, Maryam Gholami, Mohammed Abed Rabbo Allan, Mohammad Reza Honarvar, Mowafak Bassal, Narjes Noureddine, Tagelsir Hassan, Uday Al Araji and Wissam Shawkat.
