NEPAL---Being creative itself is power. Folk and women artists together are showcasing their power of creativity in an exhibition titled ‘Srijana Shakti’. The exhibition is being organised by Department of Folk Art, Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) where different forms of traditional art, modern art and handicraft work are being displayed from June 26 at NAFA, Naxal. The exhibition of 92 artists is spread in two areas where one area is full of traditional art that has various wooden and clay masks of Hindu and Buddhist deities. One can see masks of Ganesh, Kumari, Bhairav and more. Likewise, the clay gods of Tharu and paintings all the way from Dang have also been displayed. [link]
